Fresh from Briercrest College, Doug Barr started work at Ranger Lake in May 2013 as student coordinator. Hailing from northern B.C., he never thought he’d end up working at a camp in Saskatchewan, but God had different plans. One year later, late in the summer of 2014, Doug accepted the camp director position! As such, Doug oversees summer camp including summer missionaries, general camp programming, and discipleship of campers. He loves to teach, mentor, and practices martial arts in his spare time. You’ll also see his wife, Alissa, helping around the camp in the summer in various capacities, including teaching artistic painting at Fanatic Camp.
